September 9th Newsletter

We have loved meeting our new families and welcoming everyone back this week. We cannot wait to see everyone else next week!

We have put together a full season calendar together for your convenience! Please take the time to save our calendar link and save the dates for all of our exciting events and performances this 2023/2024 season!

Important Dates - Click here to download the yearly calendar, which includes performance dates, dress-up weeks, and all other important dates!

Theme Months/Weeks: We hope to build a spirit of community at Studio J PAC, and one of the ways we do that is with our fun Theme Week activities. Sometimes, these activities will be done entirely by the instructors in class, and sometimes, we will need a little help from you! Please check on your class band each week to see the theme so your student doesn't miss out on the fun!

Our first theme of the season is all about family! Sept 6-15: It's a Family Thing! - Submit your favorite 4x6 family picture (bonus points if it's a dance pic) to the studio for us to display! (Hard copy or emailed to info@studiojdanceok.com)

*Pom Camp for ages 4-9. This is a special 6-week session. Dancers do not have to be currently enrolled to join! Pom camp begins Friday, September 22nd, 4:30-5:15 pm.

**NEW CLASS ADDED!**

*Tuesdays 9:30-10:15 am Homeschool Acro class ages 7-10

Enrollment is currently open. Please enroll online through our website!

EPIC Schools Learning Fund

Studio J is an Epic Vendor! If your dancer is a student of Epic Schools and you plan to use your Epic Learning Fund for Studio J classes, please complete a separate form for each student. Please be aware parents are responsible for all payments before approval and following the depletion of Epic funds. Reminder: Epic only pays for tuition, and you will still be responsible for performance fees each month, so you must have a current card on file for auto-pay. The form must be completed by September 14th at 5pm. https://forms.gle/ZQrFgKWPhibNwBQe6

If you were unable to make it to our open house days but still need to purchase dance shoes and attire, please arrive early before your dancer's first class to be fitted!

Follow this link for the dress code!

Tuition Policy Reminder - Monthly tuition is set by dividing the yearly cost into nine convenient installments and then adding the performance fees. Breaks, weather cancellations, dress rehearsals, pictures, and performances have all been accounted for, so tuition will be the same each month, Sept-May, regardless of the number of classes in any given month.

September tuition and performance fees will run on the 15th. This allows everyone to attend one week of class before you are charged. Starting in October, tuition and performance fees will run on autopay on the 5th of the month. Tuition is due no later than the 15th, after which late fees apply. If you need to drop a class, you MUST contact the office...you will continue to be charged until your drop is formally processed. Drops must be processed before the start of the next month, or you will owe tuition for that month, even if you haven't attended a class. Thank you for your cooperation!

Just a reminder - Performance Fees are $15/month for your first class and $9.50 for each additional class and cover the cost of your Spring Recital charges, including costume, four tickets, programs, awards, etc. These fees are non-refundable.
