Spring Recital!
We are so excited to share that this year's theme is "I AM." Exodus 3:14 "God said to Moses, I am
who I am." We are also delighted to announce that our Spring recital will be held in our very own professional performance venue here at Studio J PAC! Our large stage, clean dressing areas, and state-of-the-art sound system will be sure to provide your dancer with an amazing, safe, and exciting recital experience, and our audience will enjoy spacious seating, photo ops, and the comforts of our beautiful lobby.
As our performance season nears, there are so many exciting things happening at Studio J and so much you need to know! Staying informed will help you and your child have the best performance experience possible, and we are here to help, so let us know if you have any questions!
Information needed:
We need a little information to help us prepare for the recitals! If you could please take 2 minutes to fill out this form, we would greatly appreciate it! Please click on this google doc link to complete our Recital Info Questionnaire and submit it electronically no later than March 20th: Recital info form!
Each performer will receive a costume with tights, if needed, for each class, 4 tickets (per show) for the live performance, and their end-of-year award – all included in your monthly performance fee. We will also be providing a free live-stream option directly on our website for anyone not able to attend, as well as out-of-town family and friends.
**The ticket waitlist will be emailed and posted to the band on March 15th and will close on April 14th at 5:00pm. Tickets are free and will be distributed during picture week (April 17-21). If you know you will not need all four of your tickets, please let us know so we can offer them to others that need them.
In addition, each student will be given a free recital shirt, a free professional digital download of their performance, and a small token of appreciation!
Picture Week! April 17th-21st
Picture week is coming up! There will not be class this week, just group and individual pictures. Please bring all your dance shoes and costume pieces! Hair and Makeup for picture week are at your discretion. We do ask that you try to pin their hair out of their face. We are super excited to see everyone's costumes again! If you do not have a costume yet, do not worry! We are on it!
Dress Rehearsal Week! May 8th-12th
Dress rehearsal will be during regular class time. Students should arrive in full costume, and they will have the opportunity to practice on stage. Dressing rooms will be available for students who have more than one class. THIS IS A CLOSED REHEARSAL FOR STUDENTS AND INSTRUCTORS ONLY.

Each show’s expected run time will be 45 minutes or less. If your child is in a combo class (ex. tap/jazz/ballet) they will be performing a separate dance for each style within their class’s scheduled recital. If your child takes more than one class, or if you have more than one student, they may be participating in more than one show. Please check the link for specific recital dates/times for each class.
Spring Recital Costumes – We have begun passing out costumes as they come in! In the weeks to come, we will be doing final fittings and providing any necessary alterations. Accounts must be current to receive your costume, so please be sure to keep your card on file updated. If your dancer doesn’t come home with a costume, no worries.
